EMS Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

In order for County Personnel to determine a candidate's eligibility for a position the applicant must document in writing on the application how they meet the minimum qualifications related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation of high school or equivalent GED and one year experience in the operation of motor vehicles including experience in winter driving conditions.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Possession of a valid NYS drivers license at time of application and maintenance of such license throughout duration of employment.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

Must learn and become an EMT within 12 months of employment.
